FTP ... File Transfer Protocol

As a PC user my first step to the task was to download Filezilla. Easy action, didn't send me up any garden paths unlike Telnet.

My Filezilla client is shortcut on my desktop so in I go........

Asked to FTP to recall.curtin.edu.au, I gather HOST is where I need to type the address.

All systems go and many Status, Response and Commands later my directory listing is successful.



Now I need to find the file called README.

This nearly got me at first. The two boxes on the left look like my PC therefore my choices lie on the right.

To be honest, I did open all the folders. MSC has a file readme.txt

Hmm

When I double click it to open I end up with an error.

Plan B

Right click on the readme.txt and I find I can VIEW/EDIT





Yay this must be where I need to be because 'CAPITALIZATION MATTERS'

A bit confused at first looking for README (capitalized hmm) Yet another interesting task.
